WINTER LAYERS

Its been really cold lately (It was meant to snow the other day but I'm still waiting on that), so its hard to find a good outfit and still be warm at the same time.
Inspiration for this outfit:
1) Warmth!
2) Solange Piaget Knowles
Most of this came together as I was digging out old clothes to send to charity a lot of what I'm wearing is not in stores for me to give you a link but you can always layer similar items which I will put a link for down bellow. Its always fun to layer different items, if you can try layering different textures, colours and prints... You'll be warm and looking chic all at the same time.

Why I LOVE SOLANGE
PRINT CLASH
If you're wondering what my name is, its Malange... like Solange. Solange is known for clashing loads of fun, colourful and African prints and turning them into something amazing! She can make any "mess" look good. I don't usually wear that many colours or prints (even when i wear prints they tend to be closer to dark colours like grey and black) but when I do she is my number 1 inspiration.

DADS CLOTHES

Usually when people ask me where I got my clothes from I can answered straight away and tell them but these days it seems like more and more i just say " it's my dads". I've been wearing a lot of my dads clothes lately, I feel cool and retro (lol) and not to mention comfortable! I'm really warming to his style and I'm more influenced by him all the time ( he is amazing). I wanted to being casual today and since my own white shirts are getting to small for me (had some recent weird weight gain) I went for dad's. I raided his wardrobe when he was out so I could steal a shirt and while I was at it I took a hat too.I'm really upset about my trainers, I've wanted these since June earlier this year and I couldn't find them in my size anywhere! They were all huge sizes like size 6 (someone out there is thinking "but thats average size Jess!" but whatever) and I finally found Somewhere that had size 4 this October but it was sold out and I got size 5 cause I couldn't wait any longer... size 5 is huge and I stuff these shoes with socks at the front...and guess what...they are now available in a size 4! :( Anyway I like this outfit, you can never go wrong with a white tee right?

DON'T FORGET THE SIDE ZIPS

I used to feel sooo awkward shopping in the men's section, like they were all looking at me like 'what on earth are you doing here'? even though there's always about a total of  guys shopping, but i really do love it now, men's sweatshirts so much nicer and thicker than the ones in the womens section which bring me to my latest purchase .... drum roll please... I got this really nice sweatshirt from Bershka Men's and I love love love it! Its black ( You can never go wrong with black) and its got these zips on the side so I can open it up. Hope you like it

HOW TO: DISTRESSED TEE

I'll comb my hair soon I promise

So the other day when I was out with my friend I did something stupid. I wanted to make a funny video for snapchat so I asked her to take record me climbing into one of those toy car rides for kids are the mall ( it was at night and no one saw). As I squeezed into my new whip I suddenly heard a tear from under me... my jeans ripped. Weirdly enough they didn't rip right in the middle they ripped on the side under my butt. I was really upset because after my failed attempts to cut up my pairs of black jeans this was my last pair!! I couldn't let these go to waste I so figured I'd cut up my old top too and make this look like it was on purpose ( I should've made more rips on the jeans, I see that now) and thus the distressed tee! It was all just a hilarious mess but I like to have fun with my clothes so whatever. Hope you like it!

THE GIRL WHO WASN'T 'ORGINAL'

I love Instagram and I go through my explore page daily. Yesterday I found these twins on Instagram who just seemed like American versions of me from the short blonde hair, the septum rings, the red lipstick and even the clothing style. Initially I was really excited that someone liked the same things I did but then i got a bit bummed out that I wasn't as 'original' as I first thought I was. A lot of people try to be 'different' and 'original' with fashion but in this day and age originality is far from existence, almost every basic idea has been done so its really just about taking everyday ideas and making them your own. I think it is important to be unique and just because someone might share similar traits with you it doesn't mean you're not one of a kind. Always be true to yourself.

CAMDEN

 Outfit Details

Coat: H&M
Shoes: Ebay
Headchain: Asos

I like to do my shopping in thrift shops and markets sometimes, I always find something cool and interesting and even if I don't buy anything I almost always have fun so I went to Camden Market today. Its where I get all my sunglasses and my one hoodie from, everything is just so busy and vibrant and fun so I love going there. I didn't except the weather to be so cloudy so I did leave my house in a thin trench/duster coat and my favourite white boots. You might have also noticed that i'm wearing a black Cleopatra wig since my hair is short and blonde. I love love love ancient Egypt and its culture so every once in a while i throw on that dumb wig...I even did some crazy cat eye makeup. I didn't actually buy anything other than a tube of henna and some food ( If you want your henna done contact me)
